Skid Mounted RO Plant is designed and manufactured to remove salts, minerals, and other impurities. In this system, the contaminants of water get removed first by hardness removal and then by reverse osmosis. Ion exchanges resin sticks to the hardness in the water which prevents it from proceeding to the next step, sodium chloride draws the attraction from the resin, releasing the hardness to be drained. In the next step, reverse osmosis is introduced, in which a huge amount of pressure forces water to do the opposite of its natural tendencies. During Osmosis, low salt concentration water moves toward higher concentration water by passing through a semi-porous membrane which initially separates the two but in reverse osmosis, a huge amount of pressure is applied to force highly concentrated saline to lower concentrated saline. During this, a semi-porous membrane catches unwanted TDS (total dissolved solids) leaving the water pure.
